Welcome to Highworth Choral Society
We are friendly, non-auditioned choir from a small, but historic, market town in the north-east corner of Wiltshire. We generally perform three concerts annually, in the local area, singing a wide repertoire from major choral works to lighter modern pieces.
Highworth has had a Choral Society since 1978 and currently has about 50 members of a wide range of ages and backgrounds. We are always keen to accept new members into all voice sections. Prospective new members are always made welcome at any rehearsal.
Leon James, our previous Musical Director helped us to develop musically from 2021-22 and the post has now been taken on by Jen Bamford who was appointed in September 2022.
